FINISHED!

I am finally done with summer school! YAY!!!!! So much has been going on lately I dont even know where to begin. So, I will start with my weekend in Selma. My brother had a baseball tournament (State) and it was pretty fun. I spend most of the time hanging out with Hayley Hall or reading my Pretty Little Liars book, which I finished so now I need to buy the rest! The games went ok and Opp came in 2nd in the state. I had to leave to come back to Troy to finish classes so I didnt get to see the final game. Once back in troy things started to speed up. Hill is here for the week for her new Job "training" and so last night we decided to go to walmart to get things to cook dinner. When we got home our yard was flooded and water was pouring out from our trailer. I cut the water off and we got busy trying to figure out the problem. Turns out the pipe under the sink had came undone and it was flooding outside! But thankfully we got it fixed. We have learned to do alot since we are in Troy without our parents! I think we are actually becoming successful, productive members of society! ha! I checked my grades today and finished summer school with 2 A's and 1 B. I am completely fine with that considering the class I got the B in was ridiculously boring and difficult. Definately wont be taking that teacher again! Hill and I stayed up late last night being silly and watching funny youtube vidoes and just having a good time. I have definately missed her being here this summer! Today, I have been scrapbooking all day and I am finally finished with the year 2010. That should definately say how far behind I am! So I guess I need to get busy with 2011 since this year is half way over already. Time really does fly by. Well thats all for now! I plan to enjoy the rest of my summer and go to the beach as much as possible! Happy SUMMER everyone! =]

What's Up?

I have gotten wayyyy behind on my blogging lately....actually lets face it, I have gotten way behind on everything in life that does not consist of school or studying. I recently took the GRE so that I can apply to OT school in August, getting that out of the way really helped with the stress level!!! I have also had a little summer fun...I went to a braves game with Cody, Hillary, Tyler Dent, KatieBeth, and Hunter. I also enjoyed a great 4th of July weekend at the beach with the Hall family. Other than that my summer has been filled with school work and papers! But on the bright side next week I will take finals and have a few weeks of summer to do what I please!!! Blogger is being silly and wont let me upload pics so I guess this is all for now!

What Gets Me Through The Day

School and research papers have been stressing me out completely lately so I have decided to do a blog about things that help get me through the day aside from phone conversations with my sweet boyfriend who listens to me complain and my wonderful mom who listens and gives advice as needed. So here are a few things that I use frequently throughout my days and weeks! Enjoy.

My Planner. This little thing keeps me going. I write down everything. Events, Assignments, Things to Do, EVERYTHING. I am a total organization junkie and I love to have things planned out. It makes me feel relaxed and keeps alot of stress from accumulating.

Nike Shorts! These are my absolute BEST FRIEND! They are so comfortable and easy to throw on in the mornings for class. I also wear them to baseball games, out to grocery shop, well actually it would be easier to name the places I didn't wear them because I LOVE them! haha!

Bare Escentuals makeup is so very quick and easy and allows me to feel like I have on enough makeup to look presentable in public yet its so light and doesnt rub off on my t-shirts when im lounging on the couch! I love this stuff!

My Droid X is always in reach. It allows me to talk/text/internet all in the palm of my hand. I can check my facebook, my bank account, my Troy email, everything. It's very useful and I love it! The only downside is that it is a little large so I can't put it in my pocket or anything.

Special K Protein Shakes in Milk Chocolate. I drink one of these for breakfast every morning because I rarely have time to sit down to eat a meal for breakfast. This is super quick and easy to drink on the go. It keeps me full until lunch time. I LOOOVE these!

This devotional was given to me when I graduated high school but I put it on a shelf in my room and didn't read it until about 5 months ago. Ever since then I try my best to read it everyday. It's very uplifting and helps me remember that I am not on this journey alone.

These are just a few things that help me get through the day. On another note, I will be taking the GRE July 8 so that I can apply for OT school. Pray for me! =]

My Favorite Things

Lately I have been going to work with Cody's sister Heather because she is an occupational therapist and I aspire to be just like her one day in the near future! I am trying to get everything in order to apply for OT school in August so I have been going to work with her to get some observation hours! Hillary's sister Hayley has been going too because she now thinks she wants to be an OT! Yay! This makes me super excited because I now have a friend with similiar interests in school subject matter so maybe she will be my study buddy one day!

After a few days of OT observation, I spent my weekend at my brothers baseball games in Dothan. Man ohhhh man was it hot out there! I love to watch him play baseball and I realllly think he is allll kinds of awesome but good lord it was hottt! And I know I drive everyone around me crazy because I complain the entire time about how hot/sweaty/sticky I am, I also throw in that omgeez these knats are driving me insaneeee!!! But on a brighter note, the weekend is over and now its time for more school. Great.

Basically right now my life consists of school, baseball, school, baseball, occasional pool time, then more hot/sticky/sweaty oh so not interesting unless my brother is playing baseball!

Getting Back In The Swing Of Things

I created this blog over a year ago and oddly enough got so caught up in reading other people's blogs that I just stopped blogging about my own interesting/boring/daily/frustrating/fabulous life! So here's a little recap of the past year, then maybe, just maybe if I can keep up... I will blog about random events and things such as that from here on out! So, everything in my life is back to normal, Hill is completely better and lives with me in Troy again. Except for right now because its the Summer and she went home to take classes at LBW. I stayed at Troy to take classes and go home as often as I can because its super boring living by yourself! Last summer I taught swimming lessons with Jennifer (Cody's older sister) and made a little money, I also took a few classes at LBW. Then the Fall came and everything got really hectic and kinda made me crazy. School was pretty tough, I went back and forth from Opp to Troy to Montgomery to try to see all the people that I love so dearly. I spent most of my time trying to stretch myself from location to location to make sure I could watch my brother play football and watch Cody play baseball at AUM, then spend a little time with my family and friends. It was not easy, let me tell ya! Then of course came birthdays, holidays, you know yada yada yada. Then 2011 was here in a hurry, the whole "time flys" saying is really starting to get to me. The spring semester was again packed with endless papers for school, driving to watch Cody and my brother play baseball games in different cities every weekend, and spending time with family and friends. I also helped Cody's sisters Heather and Jennifer teach tumbling because Heather was expecting her 3rd child. I am done with that now and I am definately going to miss the money! As I write this and think about it, I cant believe its already Summer 2011 and I actually made it through my 2nd year of college. Wow. Somehow I managed to keep my sanity through the many ups and downs of the year! Maybe this time I can find time in my oh so routine lifestlye to blog every now and again! =]

Time Flys

It has been forever since my last blog. I guess I just didnt even realize that the month of April is almost over. So much has gone on over the last few weeks. I cannot wait for this semester to be over with! It has been difficult living in Troy by myself over the past few months and I cant wait until the Fall when Hillary gets to move back in with me! So lets see throughout the month of April so far I have gone to the beach a few times, attended many of Cody's LBW baseball games, driven back and forth from Troy to Opp to see my family and Cody SEVERAL days of the week, spent numerous hours on homework and preparing for finals YAY!, had a great Easter weekend with my family, went to the McClelland's Critters zoo and held a baby bear, and decided to take summer classes at LBW! Wow....I guess I have been busier than I thought! Cody has been very busy with baseball lately. I am so proud of him for signing a scholarship to continue his baseball career at AUM! I cant wait for him to get there! I have loved going to watch him play ball at LBW but I just have this feeling that AUM will be a whole different atmosphere! He is very excited to get to play for the legendary Q.V. Lowe! Aside from the fact that he will get to continue his baseball career, he will also have his education paid for!
I guess thats enough rambling for now! I am now awaiting the end of the semester and looking forward to Summer time and Sunshine!

This is BooBoo the 2 month old baby bear!
He was precious and so frisky!
After Cody verbally commited to AUM!!! =]

Cody and I at the beach!
Cody and I on Easter!

My family on Easter Sunday!

I just thought that I would add....Im not sure why my pictures always end up in such a crazy
order, I meant for Easter pictures to be the first ones but oh well! Also, today I went to Andalusia to register for summer classes and afterwards I had lunch with Cody at the new Japanese steakhouse. It was very good so I recommend trying it! I got to spend a couple hours with my mom afterwards and really enjoyed it! I then went to my house in Opp and saw my dad before finally driving back to Troy, Now its study time!

"Back Together Again"

It has been such a long week/weekend/and week all over again! I dont know where the time goes. My mom always told me that as I got older time would fly by...and it literally does. This weekend Hillary came home and I was so excited! I spent most of Friday afternoon with her while Cody and Tyler Dent were at a baseball visit at AUM. I really enjoyed getting to catch up! While she was in Atlanta I got to talk to her but its nothing like the conversations we can have when she is home! When the boys got back Cody and I went to the Rattlesnake Rodeo and enjoyed hearing Luke Bryan and Billy Currington. We went to church on Sunday as usual and enjoyed the service, then I went with my mom to a bridal shower for a family friend. So much for a relaxing weekend! Yesterday, I drove from Troy to Opp, picked up Hillary and then we went to LBW to watch our guys play some ball! Hill was so excited because she hasn't been to a game all season due to her accident and hospital time. So of course she had to take tons of pictures!

I am so Glad that my best friend is home! I think that since I have nothing left to do today, I will probably spend the afternoon scrapbooking! So I may post some "cricut creations" stuff later!
